JoElla Manning
Share:
JoElla began her pine needle coiling adventures in 2013 while living on a sailboat in Marathon, Florida. Every Thursday was basket making day and she learned the joys of coiling and the camaraderie of basketmakers with a dozen cruising basketmakers. Exploring and developing the craft of coiling has since led JoElla into teaching, exhibiting, and selling her basket creations. Functional yet beautiful, basket coiling is purposeful while meditative, and the love of teaching is apparent in her encouraging and productive approach to class. JoElla is a member of the Art Guild of Orange Park (Florida), The National Gourd Society, and the National Basketry Organization.
