Mary is a potter living in the Blue Ridge mountain town of Meadows of Dan, VA. A member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, she has taught classes for the Guild, regional craft centers, and at the Folk School for many years. Mary makes earthenware animal whistles, sculpture, and handbuilt and wheel-thrown ware characterized by a sense of humor and colorful, detailed decoration.
