Charles Farrar
Share:
Charles is a self-taught woodturner who began turning full-time after retiring from the corporate world in 1995. He lives in North Carolina and demonstrates for various symposia and clubs nationwide, including the AAW. His works are held in numerous private and corporate collections and can be found in the Obama's private collection at the White House. Charles enjoys creating a variety of turned pieces, from classical forms with fine finishes to those with handcarved, textured, and pigmented surfaces. Working with found wood with irregular grain patterns, knots, burls, and voids interests him most.
