Carl has been a country dancer and teacher for over 40 years. He is a certified teacher of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. He is also a founding member and past president of the North Texas Traditional Dance Society, and teaches rapper sword and Morris dancing. Carl co-teaches English country dancing at the Folk School and has served on the school's board of directors.
