Charley Orlando

Charley , a retired teacher, started forging in 1978 and has studied with many master smiths. He has been an instructor of basic forging techniques at the Folk School since 1989. Charley's work is mostly custom and architectural in nature, using a combination of contemporary and traditional processes. He has also been knitting Aran and other fisherman-style sweaters for 50 years, and has been creating tin can art for the last 16 years.
