Pete Leclair
Share:
Pete began woodcarving in 1973, starting with a couple of books on caricature carving, including one by Harold Enlow. Two years later, he took his first of several seminars with Harold. In 1990, Pete began showing his work at woodcarving shows and won a Best in Show award in 1994. He was inducted into Caricature Carvers of America that same year. Pete loves to exaggerate his figures' features, adding humor to his work. For many years, he has taught seminars on caricatures throughout the U.S. and in Canada, England, and Australia.
