Anne has been a cornshuck dollmaker since 1975, and a full-time craft artist since 1998. Her whimsical, one-of-a-kind dolls have been featured on HGTV, as well as in “Country Woman” and “Country Handcraft” magazines, and her book, “Making Colorful Corn Shuck Dolls,” was published in 2011. She teaches workshops and demonstrates and sells her dolls at venues throughout the Southeast, working from her studio near downtown Knoxville, TN, where she is part of a cooperative gallery. In addition to her cornshuck artistry, Anne also creates her own line of natural herbal skincare products, “Annie Egypt Herbals.” She is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, Tennessee Craft, and Foothills Craft Guild.
