Gasali , a Nigerian batik artist, learned his craft at the Nike Center for Arts & Culture in Osogbo. After studying there and teaching for several years, his artwork was exhibited in Germany. As a result, his artistic career began to bloom, and he now teaches and exhibits in the U.S. and internationally. Gasali presently resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
