MY WISH LIST
Tad grew up in rural Oregon, where he developed a keen sense of observation and an appreciation of the world around him. He began carving in 1983 and has studied under many world-champion carvers. His primary interests are songbirds and birds of prey, and he has won numerous awards in juried art shows. Tad concentrates on the technique of "carving for painting," in which every action in the process directly influences all subsequent steps. He was recently featured on the DIY Network. He is also a board member of a community redevelopment project, The Hub on Canal gallery in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
