Lynday has been a teacher for 36 years and a glass artist for 34. She is one of the pioneers in the glass bead movement and has researched and taught glass throughout the U.S. and in Germany and England. While attaining her Master of Education from Ohio State, Lynday worked with the U.S. Government's Teacher Corps on learning in a noncompetitive, multi-cultural environment. She has taught at the Folk School for 28 years, and has her own studio in Brasstown, where all visitors are welcome.
