Millie Chaplin
Share:
Millie is a native of the South Carolina low country. Her fascination with corn husks began in 1986 during a visit to the Hindman Settlement School in Hindman, KY, where she learned to make dolls from Edna Ritchie Baker. Millie has exhibited her dolls in North and South Carolina, but she especially likes to share her craft with others by teaching doll making workshops. She also takes her dolls into schools, showing children how their grandparents had fun "without batteries."
