Chris has been making pottery for over 25 years with an emphasis on functional stoneware. Having lived for years on Amelia Island, Florida, much of Chris's inspiration has come from the rhythms of the sea and the creatures that dwell there. He sells in several galleries along the East Coast and has won numerous awards at art festivals and gallery shows throughout his career. His work is also in collections around the world. He now resides in Murphy, NC, and supports the Folk School's Clay program as Studio Assistant.
