Marc started designing kaleidoscopes in England in the late 1900s. Since then his work has been displayed in museums and galleries in Europe, the U.S., and Japan. He is known for the 3-D sculptural images he achieves with front surface mirrors; hence, the images in Marc's kaleidoscopes are often referred to as optical illusions. He has lectured on his techniques in England, the U.S., and Japan, and he has also been featured on National Geographic's "Nat Geo Today" program.
