Robert Haase
Share:
Robert is originally from Seattle, but grew up here in North Carolina. He began woodworking in 1974 as apprentice to Peter Kramer in Virginia, but had his own shop soon thereafter. With a couple of careers in between, he became a full-time woodworker again in 1999. Bob is trained in, and still considers himself a student of, traditional woodworking technique. He learns much from his proper restoration of fine antiques for collectors, both private and institutional. His custom furniture designs are informed by early methods, but he does embrace modern power tools. (They are, after all, much less expensive than finding, feeding, and housing apprentices!)
