Jillian is an interdisciplinary artist and arts activist who creates works in visual art, writing, public installation, body performance, and social practice. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2010, receiving a B.A. in Studio Art: Drawing & Painting, as well as a B.A. in Visual Communications. In 2014 she earned an M.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts: Book & Paper from Columbia College Chicago, where she also served as adjunct faculty and employee at the Center for Book and Paper Arts. As founder and proprietor of The Mobile Mill, Jillian currently works as a traveling teaching artist in hand papermaking, bringing handmade paper craft to hundreds of people across the U.S. since 2014.
