Karen , a lifelong maker of things, is also a lifelong learner whose interests have led her to explore many avenues -- leatherwork, silversmithing, music, knitting, spinning, quilting, and more. With her creative time currently dedicated to leatherwork, she has a fascination for making detailed, functional, and beautiful leather items. Her bags, book covers, and small accessory items are sold on her website. Karen and her blacksmith husband, Larry Cooper, live here in Brasstown, North Carolina, where they enjoy the beauty of nature and find inspiration for their work. Their work can also be seen on Instagram @gullandartisans.
