Karen , a lifelong maker of things, is also a lifelong learner whose interests have led her to explore many avenues -- leatherwork, silversmithing, music, knitting, spinning, quilting, and more. With her creative time currently dedicated to leatherwork, she has a fascination for making detailed, functional, and beautiful leather items. Her bags, book covers, and small accessory items are sold on her Gulland Artisans website. Karen and her blacksmith husband, Larry Cooper, live here in Brasstown, NC, where they enjoy the beauty of nature and find inspiration for their work.
