Joey Sheehan
Share:
Joey has been making pots in the Asheville, NC, area for over 10 years. He opened and runs Asheville Ceramics Gallery, a small cooperative in the city's River Arts District, and he works in a shared studio five miles north, on the French Broad River. He lives in Madison County, where he enjoys rural life with his wife, dog, two cats, and a yard full of goats and chickens. He fires all of his work in his home kiln yard via gas reduction or in his newly built, two-chamber wood kiln. Joey has taught at Odyssey Center for Ceramic Arts, Highwater Clays, and The Bascom and is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild.
