Matthew is an artist who enjoys working with natural materials. Using primarily handmade papers, he crafts artist books, journals, boxes, sculptural objects, decorative papers, and functional artist papers. He also designs handcrafted tools for papermakers and book binders. He collects many materials directly from nature and processes them into works of art and functional craft pieces. Matthew is an artist in residence at Liberty Paper, a hand-papermaking studio in Liberty, Tennessee.
