Kami Watson
Share:
Kami has a nomadic past in conservation and humanitarian services, which exposed her to global design and cultural influences, and fostered her desire to create with ecological sensitivity. A second generation fiber artist, Kami freely explores the traditional art of wet felting and contemporary nuno felting. She combines renewable fiber resources, reclaimed fabrics, her own hand-dyed fabrics and fibers, and allows the materials and her experiences in life to guide her. Kami currently resides in AL, is an award-winning fiber artist, and is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, Peidmont Craft Guild, AL Designer Craftsmen, and Craft Guild of MS.
