David Voorhees

David of Zirconia, NC, is a full-time studio potter with more than 40 years of experience. He currently makes functional and decorative stoneware and porcelain pottery, firing in oxidation, gas reduction, wood/soda/salt, and raku. Primarily self-taught in clay, David comes from a family of painters. He is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild and Piedmont Craftsman and married to metalsmith Molly Sharp.
