David Walbert
Share:
David is an amateur woodworker, historian, and educator in Raleigh, North Carolina. He's written extensively about traditional craftways, and for several years he's demonstrated the use of a shaving horse for chairmaking during “living history” days at a historic site. Although he's devoted to hand tools, he did need one major power tool to get started with his own shaving horse—his broken-down pickup truck, which he sold to buy materials and his first drawknife and spokeshave!
