Katherine has been a resident of Oklahoma since 1984, where she teaches drawing, printmaking, and watercolor. Professor of Art at Cameron University, she has an MFA from Texas Tech and a BS from Southern Connecticut State University. She was awarded the Oklahoma Governor's Arts Award in 2014. She has also been honored with the Bhattacharya Research Excellence Award, Cameron University Faculty Hall of Fame, the Phi Kappa Phi Distinguished Faculty Award, and Artist of the Year by the Paseo Art Assoc. in Oklahoma City. Katherine has exhibited her artwork in over 400 national and international shows and exhibitions. Many of her prints and drawings are in permanent collections, museums, and institutions throughout the nation.
