Betty Maney
Betty is an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, and resides in the Big Cove Community of Cherokee, NC. A white oak and river cane basket weaver, beadwork, and Cherokee traditional stamped potter, she has won ribbons at several Cherokee Indian Fair Competitions. Betty's cultural art pieces are heavily influenced by traditional techniques and materials handed down with each generation.
