Kelly is an Associate Instructor of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC. She has won a number of silver and gold medals in American Culinary Federation's sanctioned pastry competitions, and currently holds their distinction of Certified Executive Pastry Chef. In 2016, she received her MS in Sustainable Food Systems from Green Mountain College in VT. Kelly was selected for the Les Dames d'Escoffier Legacy Award for sustainable farm work in Hawaii in 2015. She has been Executive Pastry Chef at the Fort Worth Club in TX, and worked at the five-star, five-diamond property, The Cloister, in Sea Island, GA.
