Sarah Loudin Thomas
Sarah grew up on a 100-acre farm in French Creek, WV, the seventh generation to live there. Her Christian fiction is set in West Virginia and celebrates the people, the land, and the heritage of Appalachia. Her first novel, "Miracle in a Dry Season," was released in August 2014 through Bethany House Publishers and won the Inspy Award for debut fiction. Her second novel, "Until the Harvest," was nominated for the Christian Book of the Year Award in 2016. Additional novels include "A Tapestry of Secrets" and "The Sound of Rain." Her latest work, "When Silence Sings," will release in November 2019. A graduate of Coastal Carolina University, Sarah has taught at writers' conferences and book festivals in the Southeast, and she currently oversees fundraising and communications for a children's home in Black Mountain, NC.
