Chuck Patrick
Share:
Chuck started loving tools and using them when he was 6 years old. He made his first knife, out of necessity, while living in the Alaskan Bush. His study of blacksmithing began at the Folk School in 1981 with such greats as Francis Whitaker and Oscar Cantrell. Chuck has taught blacksmithing here since 1983, along with leather shoemaking, white-oak basket making, and playing and teaching traditional Appalachian music.
