Ash is a multi-talented musician, award-winning singer-songwriter, performance artist, multi-generational community arts organizer, and educator. Based in Asheville, NC, she is originally from the Blue Ridge Mountains of VA. Ash first adopted the ukele in 2009, as a travelable and joyful instrument for performing internationally in hospitals with renown doctor and activist, Patch Adams. She now tours professionally as an Appalachian folk and original musician. Ash also teaches a variety of musical and performance art classes for youth, adults, older adults, and person with special needs and neurocognitive impairments.
