Share:
Tyson After retiring from a long healthcare career as a pathologist and chief medical officer, Tyson moved to Townsend, TN and plunged into his interest in photography. Most of his personal work explores nature with an interest in macro subjects, probably based on whatever drew him to pathology. He also works with his wife, as a second shooter, in her wedding and portrait business. Tyson has qualified as a Certified Professional Photographer and earned the Master Photographer and Craftsman Photographer degrees from Professional Photographers of America. He started and runs Smoky Mountain Journal of Photography. He is a partner in Smoky Mountain School of Photography and gives workshops in the Smoky Mountain area. He also teaches several courses in the UT Non-credit Photography Program.
