Mary Edna has over 100 one-woman exhibitions to her credit. She has demonstrated the ancient art form of batik at The Textile Museum in Washington, D.C., and for NASA at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival; in Massachusetts' World Batik Conference, and Peabody Essex Museum; the South Carolina Art Museum in Columbia; and two Fibre Forums in Australia. Widely published, her work is featured in "The Batik Art of Mary Edna Fraser," by Cecelia Dailey (USC Press); "BATIK for Artists and Quilters," by Eloise Piper (Hand Book Press); "A Celebration of the World's Barrier Islands," by Orrin Pilkey (Columbia Univ. Press); among others.
