Noah hails from the eastern North Carolina swamplands, where he currently teaches high school theater and co-directs The Rural Academy Theater, North Carolina's only hourse-drawn touring theater company. He started his performing career at age 4 with the Broadwater Players, before studying performing arts at Trinity College in Connecticut and directing at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. Noah has worked in and around puppetry for the past 15 years with Bread & Puppet Theater of Vermont and El Teatro Indigena de la Sierra Tarahumara in Mexico.
