Jason s ceramic education began in Japan as a student of two country potters. He pursued through avenues of apprenticeship and serving as an assistant to master potters, including work and studies at Winchombe Pottery in England, with Dan Finnegan in Virginia, and with Michael Hunt and Naomi Dalglish of Bandana Pottery in Western North Carolina. Jason is a working studio potter and resident artist at Penland School of Craft.
