Molly McCurdy
Share:
Molly has been building and playing dulcimers for about 40 years, as taught to her by her uncle in Mountain View, AR. When she began building dulcimers, she was a single mom and full-time student, working and raising her two children. Much of her dulcimer building took place late at night, hence the name "Light o' the Moon Dulcimers." All of Molly's dulcimers are custom-designed, and not two are exactly alike. She hopes to pass on her talent to her granddaughter, who is also her apprentice. Molly is a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a dachshund mom who now works from her home in Waynesville, NC.
