Steve began woodcarving in 1977. In 1986 Steve began traveling and teaching the art of caricature carving. Steve's various awards include, overall best of Caricature Division at the International Woodcarvers Congress, 2nd Best of Show at the Caricature Carvers of America competition. Steve was inducted into the Caricature Carvers of America in 2014. Steve is the author of Carving Pen Figures and Carving Figural Kaleidoscopes.
