Gay is a printmaker and painter who maintains a private studio in Knoxville, TN. She has been painting and making prints for 30 years and has studied art at the University of Tennessee, University of West Georgia, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and the Folk School. Gay has taught at the Folk School since 2004 and has been a juried exhibitor at the school's annual Fall Festival, where her playful paintings and prints always bring a smile. She is a member of the Foothills Craft Guild, Tennessee Craft (formerly TACA), and the Knoxville Arts & Culture Alliance.
