Jean Kerr
Share:
Jean retired from many years as a high school English teacher and college professor, and she continues to be passionate about sharing knowledge. She learned to make pine needle baskets at the Folk School from Judy Mallow, a fifth-generation maker. Jean has taught pine needle basketry in continuing education classes for Auburn University at Montgomery, at the Alabama Folk School, several classes for the Lee County (Alabama) Historical Society, and privately. Her baskets have been displayed at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts.
