Lilly studied art at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, then pursued her love of cooking, receiving an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts from A-B Tech Community College. She has spent the last five years working in professional kitchens such as Red Stag Grill at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Asheville, Ruka's Table in Highlands, and currently at Provisions in Salt Lake City for Chef Tyler Stokes.
