Charles has two consuming passions, photography and woodcarving. He received his first 35mm camera at the age of 13. Professionally, Charlie was a photographer in the U.S. Army and taught numerous photography courses at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. Lately, he has developed a reputation in the field of iPhone photography. Charlie started woodworking at an early age and later studied under master woodcarvers in Austria and the Czech Republic. Charlie's carvings can be found in 48 states and 14 different countries. He is regarded as a master woodcarver, and has taught at the Folk School for over 12 years.
