June studied art at the University of South Alabama and fell in love with the luscious look of enamels about 20 years ago. She specializes in art made from recycled and scrap metal, which she has exhibited throughout the Southeast. June is a member of the Enamelist Society and is passionate about keeping the art of enameling alive through teaching and demonstrating. Also a professional musician and composer who plays several instruments, including harp, she has been an assistant instructor in hammered dulcimer at the Folk School since 2006.
