June studied art at the University of South Alabama and fell in love with the luscious look of enamels about 15 years ago. She specializes in art made from recycled and scrap metal, which she has exhibited throughout the Southeast. June is a member of the Enamelist Society and is passionate about keeping the art of enameling alive through teaching and demonstrating. Also a hammered dulcimer player, she has been an assistant instructor at the Folk School since 2006.
