Carolyn Anderson
Carolyn is descended from one of the first pioneer families of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Having preserved the bounty of her garden and provided meals for her family for many years, she is very knowledgeable when it comes to the traditional foods of Appalachia. Also a longtime woodcarver, Carolyn is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild. She has been an assistant instructor in youth and adult classes at the Folk School since 2011.
