David Cayton
David has been involved with blacksmithing since 1999. In 2001, he took his first classes at the Folk School to further his skills. He became an assistant instructor in 2003, working with instructor Howard Pohn in nearly a dozen of his classes over the years. David maintains a blacksmith shop in Selma, North Carolina, where his primary interest is forging custom architectural ironwork, such as table bases and gates.
