Share:
Alan shares his woodturning knowledge through proven proficiency-building exercises in classes at the Folk School and The Crafts Center at North Carolina State University. He also conducts workshops with chapters of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW) and in his own studio in Durham, North Carolina. Alan has been a demonstrator at state and national symposiums, and is actively involved in several woodturning clubs, having served many years as vice president of the North Carolina Woodturners Guild. He collects and works with many different woods, and says he could spend a lifetime doing this and not explore all the ideas he envisions.
