Frances Juhlin
Share:
Frances moved to Murphy, NC, 20 years ago with the dream of becoming a small-scale organic farmer, and her Candy Mountain Farm is now producing year-round with the help of two greenhouses. She especially likes growing unusual varieties and introducing them to her customers. Frances has taught gardening classes at the Folk School since 2007 and has worked on garden projects at her children's school. She is now heavily involved in the local food movement and is a frequent assistant instructor in Folk School cooking classes.
