Donna Glee was born in Mexico, but has called North Carolina home since 1994. Her rich past includes being a librarian, environmental activist, registered nurse, teacher, and for a long while, professional student. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and a PhD in English from LSU, and she has traveled to many countries, including India on a Fulbright Fellowship in 2008. Her speculative fiction novels "The Braided Path" and "Dreamers" were published in 2014 and 2015 by EDGE Publishing of Calgary, Canada. Her "Saving Seeds" was honored as a finalist in SCI-FEST LA's short story competition and was read onstage in Hollywood by Jasika Nicole. Other stories of hers have been recognized by mention in Gardner Dozois' Best Science Fiction of the Year and as finalists in the Writers of the Future.
