Brad began learning in 1999, by joining a local blacksmith guild (that now meets in his shop). Further education came through classes at the Folk School, workshops, conferences, other smithies, teaching, and his own problem solving. Brad's background in botany lends to his work and since 2013, he has been a full-time blacksmith/coppersmith.
