Kevin is a lifelong metalworker who started blacksmithing in the late '90s. Being from a small town in Alaska, getting educated in this craft was quite a challenge. Basically self-taught and now a full-time blacksmith, he loves manipulating hot iron with his hammer. "I put a lot of my heart into my work," Kevin says, and the finished product is proof. He has been a member of ABANA since 1999 and the Northwest Blacksmith Association since 2003. Eric also says that after many trips to Europe his works and life have been transformed. Understanding the art of making has turned his work into something he loves, and he is always ready for the next day to start.
