Bob began blacksmithing in 1985; coppersmithing became a focus 10 years later. He has demonstrated techniques at the Alabama Forge Council Conference and at local chapter meetings, and he has served as editor of "Bituminous Bits" and forgemaster of the local forge. He has taught throughout the Southeast. Bob is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, American Craft Council, and the Roycrofters-At-Large-Association, where he is one of five Master Artisans in the country. His work is held in private collections across the U.S. and abroad.
