Virginia Baker
Share:
Virginia has been quilting since 1990. She has 20+ years in color development in the paint industry, which gives her a wonderful eye for color in quilt designs. She enjoys teaching beginner fiber artists to develop their own sense of color. Virginia coauthored with her sister, Barbara Sanders, "String Quilt Revival," a book endorsed by Nancy Zieman and released as part of the "Create with Nancy" series. Since then, they have designed and written patterns for 13 additional quilts. Virginia is a member of the Tennessee Valley Quilters Association (TVQA) and teaches across the South. Also a rug hooker, she taught this subject several times at the Folk School from 2006-2012.
