Andrew is a studio potter living in Green Hill, NC, near Lake Lure. He makes traditionally inspired, woodfired, salt-glazed pottery and sells his wares nationally. He received a BFA in ceramics from East Carolina University, and finished his education with a two-year apprenticeship with Matt Jones at Jones Pottery in Sandy Mush, NC. Andrew is now a clay instructor at the Professional Crafts department at Western Piedmont Community College in Morganton, NC.
