Regina has been a full-time professional fabric and paper marbler for the past 30 years. Her work is recognized nationally, and she is frequently called upon by bookbinders and book artists to produce specific traditional and original marbled patterns. Regina and her husband, Dan run Chena River Marblers, a marbling and bookbinding studio in the heart of New England in Amherst, Massachusetts. They are known for unusual marbled papers, edge-marbling, and the capacity to make fine-marbling equipment. The St. Johns do extensive paper marbling, both acrylic and Old World styles, for bookbinders, and paper and collage artists. Each year, they also marble hundreds of yards of silk, which is then sewn into remarkable ties and scarves. They are committed to sharing their years of experience in hopes of encouraging a new generation of marblers.
