Jack , otherwise known as "Jack the Cooper," started his coopering path at the Folk School in 2006. Since that first class, he has made over 250 coopered items including buckets, piggins, tankards, tubs, and churns. Jack has demonstrated coopering at living history museums and at historical re-enactment events. He has been teaching coopering classes to teens and adults for over ten years. Since 2010, Jack has been listed three times in the Early American Life Magazine Directory of Early American Crafts.
